Mamusu is a 25 year-old mother of one. She lives in Masuba Town, in Sierra Leone. She sells assorted drinks, biscuits and pure water. Seemingly distinct businesses are often mixed in Sierra Leone, the idea being that a customer will come to purchase one thing but will leave having purchased another. Mamusu's desire is to empower her life. Mamusu works every day from Monday to Saturday. This is her only source of income, and she is proud of her young business. She likes the fact that she continues to have new customers and has kept the old ones. Mamusu wants to use this loan to buy a bigger stock of items to sell to her customers. Mamusu would like to open a big shop in the future.
