Since 1994, Lorena has been sewing to generate income and provide for her and her family. She is from Taguig City, Philippines, and she is 57 years old. Her husband died a few years ago and she has to be strong not just for herself, but for her children also. This is hard, but she has to move on and continue working. Lorena does repairs, curtains, uniforms and bedding. She also sells ready-to-wear items for additional income. To expand her business, she would like to acquire a loan. This amount will be used in buying fabric, needles, thread, lace, zippers and other materials for her tailoring business.
