Mitumi is a 40-year-old married mother from the Lake zone part of Tanzania. She is a very hardworking woman and a group member of "Faraja" loan group. For more than 10 years, she has been into a fruit-selling business from where she sells and supplies bunches of bananas and stock of watermelons across the lake zone. She daily works from 6 am to 8 pm and she is happy that she is making some great monthly profit. A loan of 700 USD will help to purchase more mangoes, guavas, watermelons, cabbage and vegetables for sale. She also plans to use the remaining portion of her loan to buy seeds for growing spinach and eggplant.
