Carmen Paola
450 USD financed in July 2016
Everything is different now for Carmen and her family, her husband and two children, ages 5 and 3. Their life was humble but comfortable, living with a safe roof over their heads. They live in the city of Portoviejo, Ecuador, which was affected by a strong earthquake on April 16, 2016. It destroyed several walls in their home. She also lost part of her business, because her sewing workshop was located in her home. Her sewing machine and other machines she used to make a living were dammaged. Now she is trying to repair them, because this is her way of moving forward. She will use the loan to repair her sewing machines and buy fabric and thread.
