Recilda is a 31-year-old woman who lives a simple life with her family in Tubigon, Bohol, Philippines. She is married and has four children, ages 19, 11, 5 and 2 years old. Recilda makes a living by selling banana cue* to the community. She has been doing this for one year and is hoping to have more successful years to come to enhance their livelihood, while her husband went to other country to earn more. Recilda uses her profit for her children’s school costs such as food, transportation expenses and other basic needs. Now she is asking for a loan amount to buy food ingredients such as banana fruit, sugar and cooking oil. Recilda aims to improve her business for her children. She wants to have enough money to support her children in their studies.
