Olimpia

200 USD financed in August 2015

Olimpia, from Salvador, had received a 200 USD loan from sparkles in August 2015 in order to buy corn and a griddle to make tortillas. Having successfully repaid her first loan already, she is asking for a second one of the same amount. Olimpia has worked for 12 years making and selling tortillas, which she learned to do from her mother. She sells from a stall in the center of her municipality, which she travels to on foot. This loan will be used to buy 4 quintals of corn, and firewood, which she will use to make her tortillas. Olimpia's dream is to continue working in order to raise her son, and see him graduate from high school and then continue on to university.
