Olimpia
200 USD financed in August 2015
Olimpia, age 41, lives in Gotera, El Salvador. She studied until second grade. For economic reasons, and because of the danger involved in crossing the rivers, she did not continue studying. Today, she lives with her partner and has a seventeen-year-old son who is studying in high school. Olimpia has been working selling tortillas for four years. She decided to set up a tortilla stand on her own initiative, because previously, she used to work making handicrafts with reeds. She needs the loan to purchase corn and a griddle for making the tortillas. Olimpia dreams of having better earnings, and of improving her home.
