Ra
500 USD financed in August 2015
Ra is a 36-years-old-woman living in Kampong Cham province (Cambodia). She is married and is the mother of three children. She has been growing rice and soybean for eighteen years as the main source of income for her family. She occasionally works for others for a fee to provide better support for her family’s needs. Having grown unhealthy and being destroyed by pests, the crop produced low outputs, and it became a challenge to her rice farming business. Ra decided to apply for a second loan. The previous loan, which enabled her to improve her standard of living, was paid back successfully. She will use the new loan to support her soybean farming business by paying plowing and planting fees. She hopes to improve her business so that she can get higher crop yields.
